Using an old coffee can to wrap gifts is a wonderful way to recycle. I used mine to wrap a Yankee Candle in a container, it fit perfectly. But you can wrap anything that will fit!
You’ll need:
Wrapping paper
Scissors
Double sided tape
Tacky glue
Tissue paper
Bows, gift tags
Using your coffee can as the guide, cut wrapping paper bigger than you need, and fold the edges down to size. Wrap it around the container, and tape it down. I used double sided tape, but you could also glue it if you prefer.
Insert some tissue paper and stick your container candle inside of it.
Now just fold the tissue paper over the top of the candle.
Use the plastic lid as your template, and cut a circle of wrapping paper.
Put a thin layer of tacky glue around the edge, and press on your circle of wrapping paper.
Let that dry and you’re ready to stick on the lid and add bows and a gift tag.
Look at how cute!
